"Origin" - Black and Turquoise/Teal Contemporary Abstract Wall Art Print Poster
This is a companion to my other listed piece, "Giving Up the Ghost," and it's also about grief and the blessings of the grieving process. About how you have days that are quite dark and heavy interspersed with moments of brightness and even abject beauty. All in one. All together. This was the second work I did after the passing of my mother after more than seven years of Alzheimer's dementia.
This image consists of archival pigment ink printed on archival paper. You can choose from textured paper or smooth finish 110lb matte paper. The original handmade painting (original is not for sale) was made with watercolor and fountain pen ink on acrylic canvas paper.
The 5x7 inch option is printed on 110lb matte cardstock and is available as a print, or in an 8×10 inch white mat, or matted in an 8.25×10.25 inch black frame. The 8.5x11 inch options printed on 110lb matte cardstock and available as a print, in a white mat, or matted in a 11.25×14.25 inch black frame. The 11×14 inch option is printed on 110lb matte cardstock and available as a print, in a white mat, or matted in a 16.25×20.25 inch black frame. The 24x36 inch poster is printed on super heavyweight matte paper with a border on all four sides. “Origin” is also available in metal, printed on 11.5×13 inch aluminum.
