"Giving Up the Ghost" - Black, Turqoise, and Yellow Contemporary Abstract Wall Art Print Poster
This is a piece about grief and the blessings of the grieving process. About how you have days that are quite dark and heavy interspersed with moments of brightness and even abject beauty. All in one. All together. This was the first work I did after the passing of my mother after she endured more than seven years of Alzheimer's dementia.
This image consists of archival pigment ink printed on archival paper. You can choose from textured paper or smooth finish 110lb matte paper. The original handmade painting (original is not for sale) was made with watercolor, fountain pen ink (in colors delightfully named Goldfish and Damselfly), and acrylic paint marker on acrylic canvas paper.
The 4×4 inch option is printed on photo paper and encased in a clear, square acrylic frame. The 5×5 inch option is printed on 110lb matte cardstock and is available as a print, or in an 8×8 inch mat, or matted in an 8.25×8.25 inch frame . The 8×8 inch option is printed on 110lb matte cardstock and available as a print, in a mat, or matted in a 12.25×12.25 inch frame. The 24×24 inch poster is printed on super heavyweight matte paper with a border on all four sides.
• Fine art paper printed with white border, stamped, signed and dated. The original is signed, stamped, and dated, but the print you receive (and any matting) will also have its own stamp and signature on the back.
